What to expect as a student
Live classes, always recorded
Sessions are taught live online at fixed times, and every class is recorded so you can revise or catch up around work and family.
Texts provided
Digital editions of the set texts are included with tuition, alongside supplementary resources and access to the private student forum.
Small cohorts
Class sizes are kept limited so that discussion is possible and students come to know one another over the years of the programme.
Breaks that fit the year
Teaching pauses in Ramadan and over the summer and winter. Students are encouraged to join the annual intensives in the UK or the United States.

Tabraze Azam is a traditionally-trained teacher of the Islamic sciences, specialising in Hanafi sacred law and legal theory. He holds a BSc in Computer Science and Management from the University of Leicester.

What our students say
It seems a lot more thought and deliberation went into developing the HLCP curriculum. I really do feel Irshad’s courses are on par or even better than most in-person classroom Islamic seminaries, eradicating the need for students to travel overseas.
One of the most astute and effective teachers I have ever had the privilege of studying with. He possesses a deep understanding of fiqh, not just in the science itself but as well as its history and principles. I also became a better student.
Aside from the quality of the lectures given, the general environment was absolutely blessed. It brought people together from different continents, at different stages in their learning, forming a community from the first day on.
